The story developed out of a story about the Nazis cutting power to blocks sequentially to narrow down where a radio signal was coming from.

Research progressed through general SOE and WWII History into more specifics like particular agents and the skills they would have learned in training like cryptography.

The protagonist in the film uses the poem code as was used by the majority of SOE agents at the time. We created this document to explain the code to the cast and crew.
